Jackson County Psychological Services (JCPS), Macon County Psychological Services (MCPS) , and Haywood County Psychological Services (HCPS) are practices devoted to assisting children and their families address mental health and community support needs. Dedicated to providing an array of quality services both in office and in community settings, our staff strives to develop a plan of care to meet the individual needs of each client. We work with families to address behavioral concerns, attention and hyperactivity issues, and childhood depression and anxiety. We specialize in providing care for children traumatized due to abuse and neglect.
Our Mission:
It is the mission of Jackson/ Haywood/Macon County Psychological Services to provide professional mental health services to the children and families in Jackson, Haywood and Macon Counties. It is our intention to provide the highest quality professional mental health support and services to the schools we serve and to join with the educational staff to encourage the healthy development of the academic community. It is our intention to always act with the well-being of our clients at the forefront of everything we do. Our agency and employees will conduct our duties with compassion and integrity while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

please call (828) 586-6600. We accept Medicaid and
Health Choice as well as most other third party insurances. We are
able to access state funding for some services as well as providing
services for a sliding fee scale. No one will be denied access to services due to their inability to pay.
JCPS has been certified by the state of North Carolina as a Critical
Access Behavioral Health Agency, CABHA.
